Instinct was first announced in 2018, aiming to appeal to outdoor enthusiasts and rugged watch lovers alike.
However, should you purchase the new model or continue to use the old one.
They are available in both standard and solar versions.
Instinct 2 models come in special editions as well.
Both the tactical and camo editions are only available in 45mm.
Tactical models have solar glass, while Camo models do not.

Display
Garmin Instinct devices all have the same jot down of display.
The 45mm devices all have the same size display, but the Instinct 2S comes with a smaller one.
All Garmin products feature Garmins transflective MIP display, topped with Corning Gorilla Glass.
In both cases, the resolution is slightly higher than the original.
Version S has 156 x 156 pixels.
Instinct 2 also has an improved sleep tracking system and respiration tracking.
All of them feature blood oxygen monitoring as well.
Smartwatch Features
The Instinct has plenty of features, as do all Garmin devices.
Instinct 2 also supports Garmin Pay, so you’re free to make payments with your watch.
Battery life depends on what you do with your equipment, of course.
But if you need the new features, our recommendation is to get the upgraded version.
