I don’t want to have to read a detailed user manual to make a vacuum clean the floor.
The other spot it has trouble with is the Christmas tree skirt.
It gets tangled and needs rescue.

The former is seasonal, so easy to forgive.
The latter, well, we just need to pick up the cords more often.

But How Well Does It Clean?
Now, the bigger question is, does it clean well?
Like all robot vacuums, the Deebot isn’t a detail cleaner.

That said, what it does clean and mop is remarkable.
I love vacuuming and mopping while I work.
I have yet to see it mop on the carpet, too, which is delightful.
The company says it will avoid pet droppings, but I haven’t needed it so far.
Ultimately, the Ecovacs Deebot x2 robot vacuum is a fantastic on-demand and AI-powered robot vacuum.
It just works; I never felt the need to read the manual.
