As said earlier, it is the first band-style fitness tracker with an ECG function from this company.
This is usually only found on more expensive smartwatches.
We know the Charge 4 packs a 3-axis accelerometer to track steps, activity and detect sleep.
It also includes a PPG optical heart rate monitor to track heart rate continuously and for exercise.
It uses red and infrared sensors to enable SpO2 monitoring and an altimeter to measure elevation.
The Charge 4 features an integrated temperature sensor that lets you measure your body temperature while sleeping.
Just like its predecessor Fitbit Charge 5 supports an important feature Fitbit Pay and built-in GPS workout tracking.
The Charge 5 will launch at $179.99.
The Charge 4 on the other hand, costs $149.95 with a special edition available at $149.95.
