The answer is to create a new default designtemplate.

With your own template, each time you open PowerPoint, your customized formatting is front and center.

For PowerPoint for Windows

Open PowerPoint and create a new presentation using the Blank Presentation template.

ChooseFile>Save As.

Enter a new name for the original template.

Select theSave as typedown arrow and choosePowerPoint Template (.potx)orPowerPoint 97-2003 Template (.pot).

For PowerPoint for Mac

Open PowerPoint.

ChooseFile>Save as Template.

In theFile Formatbox, selectPowerPoint Template (.potx)orPowerPoint 97-2003 (.pot).

Before you make any edits, save the file with a different name and as a template.

ChooseFile>Save As.

On a Mac, selectFile>Save as Template.

Change the file punch in toPowerPoint Template (.potx)orPowerPoint 97-2003 Template (.pot).

In theFilenametext box, typeblank presentation.

Make any changes you want to this new blank presentation template.

For example:

Save the file when you’re finished.

You’re ready to start adding your content.

Rename the original PowerPoint template toblank presentation.potx.
