The availability of certain copy command switches and other commandsyntaxmight differ from operating system to operating system.
Append files by choosing severalsourcefiles but just onedestinationfile.
Take note of the space between these two commands.

In this example, thej93n.exefile copies to a new folder on theY:drive asm1284.msi.
A folder has to already exist in thedestinationlocation before the copy command will copy files to it.
Make new folders in Command Prompt with themkdircommand.
Merge Files Into One
This will merge threeTXTfiles into a new one calledcombined.txt.
you’re free to also use the asterisk to append multiple files.
Of course, a command isn’t necessary if you’d rathercopy a file in Windows using File Explorer.
