A study by AITools (an AI tool directory) found that ChatGPT gets about 37 timesmore monthly visits than Google’s Gemini AIor roughly 137 million average daily visits so far in 2025.
There are a variety of factors, but Reddit users say that ChatGPT seems to provide better answers, even though Gemini can be faster.
“ChatGPT, slower than Gemini, but better at handling long (mundane) tasks, helps to make progress, has wit, helps you learn, you’re free to continue for days, it remembers everything (almost) you have been conversing about and you’re free to make progress,” said userSpiritual_Material86, in a Reddit forum.
