Here are some of the color changes you might make in Word.
pop kick open the Word document in which you want to change the background color.
In Word 2010, go toPage Layout>Page Color.

Another way to emphasize important information in your document is to highlight it.
grab the text you want to highlight.
Go to theHometab and select theText Highlight Colordrop-down arrow to display theHighlight Colormenu.

Select any color in the menu to apply the highlighting effect to the selected text.
SelectNo Colorto remove the highlighting.
If you have a great deal of text to highlight, change the cursor into a highlighter.
