Good news: You don’t need to leave that collection behind.
Luckily, Amazon and Apple have designed their services to work together seamlessly.
This tutorial assumes you alreadyset up your Amazon Alexa unit.
If you haven’t done that yet, take care of it before continuing with these instructions.
Open theAlexaapp on your smartphone.
If you don’t have it yet, here’s theAlexa app for iOSand theAlexa app for Android.
Select theSettingsoption, thenMusic & Podcasts.
Select theLink New Service (+)option.
SelectAppleMusicfrom the service options.
SelectEnable to Use, then access with your Apple username and password.
Open theSettingsapp on your PC, Mac, or smartphone, and navigate to theBluetoothoption.
ensure it’s switched on.
Tell Alexa, “Connect to a new Bluetooth unit.”
From your smartphone or computer, click theEchooption once it appears in the gadget list to establish a connection.
The Echo rig name may be followed by a random collection of letters and numbers.
Any content you play through your machine, including your iTunes library, will now stream to Alexa.
To have Alexa disconnect from your machine say, “Alexa, disconnect from my machine.”
Once it’s ready,enable Plex with your Alexadevice.
