Here’s what to do when you might’t reset your Apple Watch.

Turn on Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.

On your iPhone, bring up theControl Center, then select theWi-FiandBluetoothicons to turn them on.

If a basic restart doesn’t work, try the more strenuous forced restart.

cycle your Apple Watch.

If your watch is unresponsive, do a force restart.

Press and hold theSide ButtonandDigital Crownuntil the Apple logo appears.

Do a full power cycle.Power off your iPhoneandturn off your Apple Watch.

Then, turn on the iPhone, followed by the Apple Watch.

Resync your Apple Watch.

Reset your Apple Watch.

A reset erasesall content and tweaks on your watch, allowing you to start over from scratch.

Depending on yourwarranty or AppleCare+ status, the appointment with the manufacturer or the authorized servicer might be free.

Some examples include software issues with either the wearable or the Apple Watch it’s paired to.

You, therefore, have to check out both devices to get the reset to happen.

SelectUnpair Watch, then confirm and slide in your Apple ID/Apple Account and password if prompted.

After the unpairing process, your Apple Watch is reset to its default parameters.

Press your Watch’s Digital Crown, then tapSettings>General>Reset.

TapErase All Content and options, enter yourpasscode, then tapErase All.

Place your Watch on its charger > press and hold theside buttonuntil the Watch powers off.

Press and hold theDigital CrownuntilErase all content and settingsappears.
