Go to theInserttab and selectPictures.

To find and download a picture from the internet, selectOnline Picturesand search for an image.

In theInsert Picturedialog box, snag the file folder that contains the image.

Choose the image, then selectInsert.

choose the image in the document, go to theInserttab, then chooseShapes.

Choose one of theCallout balloonshapes.

Drag across the image to create the shape in the position and size you want.

go for the shape and enter the annotated text.

Use options on theHometab to make other formatting changes to the annotated text.

you’re free to also customize the fill and outline colors.

Choose the color you want (Theme or Standard).

Or, to choose a custom color, selectMore Fill Colors.

Then, experiment with different features such asGradient,Texture, andPicture.

To change the outline color, right-hit the edge of the annotation balloon shape and choosingOutline.

Change the weight of the solid line or turn it into dashes.

You may need to relocate the annotation balloon arrow as well.

Drag the handle to relocate it.

Hover over a handle to turn it into a double-ended arrow, then drag the resize handle.
