In a surpriseannouncement late Wednesday, Nintendo informedAnimal Crossing: Pocket Campusers that the service is shutting down.
Players can continue using the app until its demise on November 28.
The good news is the company is already talking about its replacement.

You’ll be able to transfer all your data to the new app once it becomes available.
Otherwise, the company says the controls and basic gameplay will be the same asAnimal Crossing: Pocket Camp.

Details like the app’s price and when it will come out will be available around October.
Nintendo says they will “continue to hold events and add items until the service-end date.”
