Using Windows Security
Step 1: Press theWindowskey, typeWindows Security,and clickOpen.
Step 2: Navigate to theFirewall & internet protectionsettings.
Step 3: Select aPrivate networkorPublic internet.
Note: We are going with a Public data pipe.
Step 4: Toggle off theMicrosoft Defender Firewalloption.In the prompt, selectYes.
Now, follow the same steps to suspend the firewall from the Private web connection or vice versa.
You successfully disabled Windows Firewall.
Using Control Panel
Step 1: Press theWindowskey, typeControl Panel,and clickOpen.
Step 2: Go to theSystem and Securityoption.
Step 3: Click onWindows Defender Firewall.
Step 4: In the left pane, click onTurn Windows Defender Firewall on or off.
Step 6: Click onOKto apply the changes.
Using Command Prompt
Step 1: Press theWindowskey, typeCommand Prompt, and clickRun as administrator.
Step 2: punch in the below command and hitEnter.
Note: This command will turn off the firewall for all the data pipe profiles.
If you want to disable it for the public connection profile, bang out the below command and pressEnter.
If you want to disable it for the domain connection profile, punch in the below command and pressEnter.
you could disable Windows firewalls with any of the selected commands mentioned above.
If you dont want to do it through Command Prompt, use PowerShell.
Using PowerShell
Step 1: Press theWindowskey, typeWindows PowerShell,and clickRun as Administrator.
Step 2: throw in the below command and pressEnter.
Step 2: In the top bar, enter the below-mentioned address.
Step 3: Under the StandardProfile folder, right-click, selectNew, and chooseDWORD (32-bit) Value.
Step 4:TypeEnableFirewallin the name field.
Step 5: Double-hit the new value, type0in the Value Data field, and pressOK.
Finally, reboot the system to implement the changes.
When the system boots back up, the firewall on Windows will be disabled.
If you dont want to block the firewall from the registry, you could use theGroup Policy editor.
Step 1: Press theWindowskeys, typegpedit, and clickOpen.
Step 2: In the left pane, under Local Computer Policy, selectComputer Configuration.
Step 3:In the right pane, double-click onAdministrative Templates.
Step 4: SelectNetwork.
Step 5: Under the web connection option, locate and click onNetwork Connections.
Step 6: Navigate toWindows Defender Firewall.
Step 7: SelectStandard Profile.
Step 8: In the right pane, selectWindows Defender Firewall: Protect all connection connections.
Step 9: SelectDisabled> click onApply>OK.
Now, all you oughta do is reboot Windows.
And once it boots back up, the Windows Firewall will be disabled.
