Now the possibility of a sale supervised by a bankruptcy court has data privacy experts worried.
But for the company’s customers, it’s some of their most private and personal information.
He added that “data privacy will be an important consideration in any potential transaction.”
“People didn’t take [the breach] that seriously,” Rose said.
